I think one of my favorite things about 3D is being able to create your own worlds, even if they are just inspired by the ones around you. Shortly before this project, I had spent some time exploring Holland and have been back many times since. I loved the different shapes of buildings and noticing the little details like the carvings on top of the rooves. For this project, I wanted to explore Holland in a very stylised way, which I feel that I have certainly achieved especially by the way I simplified the flower carvings on the roof of the red brick building.
